Stage Right Theater Company announces auditions for Gilbert and Sullivan’s, The Mikado in Concert, June 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at The Old Park School, 900 East Pioneer Road (12400 South), Draper, use the southwest entrance. 
 
Director Gordon Jones asks that you come prepared with 32 bars of a Gilbert and Sullivan (or similar) song.  An accompanist will be provided.  For more information please call 801-272-3445.  All positions at StageRight are voluntary.

Call backs will be June 8 at 7:00 p.m., and rehearsals will begin June 12.  The show opens July 9 and plays July 10, 16 and 17th.

Ko-Ko -- Baritone

Pooh-Pah -- Baritone

Pish-Tush -- Baritone

Yum-Yum -- Soprano

Pitti-Sing -- Soprano

Auditions for the coming season will be planned for July 17th, 2010 (Saturday) and 19th (Monday).  Auditions will be held at the theater - 415 E Parkcenter Boulevard at the Park Center Mall, Suite 110 in Boise, Idaho

Please come prepared to sing a song from a Broadway Musical that is similar to the style of the show(s) you are auditioning for.  There will be an experienced pianist available, as well as a cd player for recorded accompaniment.  Please, no accapella auditions.  Bring sheet music and/or an accompaniment track.  We will ask you to perform approximately one minute of your chosen song, however please prepare the entire song as we may want to hear more!

We will also have people do "cold" readings from various scripts - for those interested in auditioning for the non-musical productions.  You will not need to sing.
