Young Actors Needed -VOLUNTEER-
Casting a fun little short film based on a true story by best-selling author Jason F. Wright (http://jasonfwright.com). Lots of heart with a feel good message.
Primarily seeking young actors playing ages 12-14.
Production dates: Oct. 16th - 18th (tentative) in Layton, Utah

We’re asking for VIDEO AUDITIONS first.
Invitations to the first casting session are BASED ON THE VIDEO AUDITION (or leads from agencies if any, but even then, please make or link to a video if you can).
Video audition deadline: Wednesday, August 13th (via email)
Casting session: Saturday, August 16th 10:00am – 12:00pm in Layton, Utah
Callback session: TBD/A
Highly recommended things to have in your video:
- Your name and agency (if you’re part of an agency)
- Up to three takes from any single or multiple parts from the sides linked above
- A short monologue of your choosing
Recommended NOT to have in your video:
- Jason Wright fans looking for an autograph
- Skateboarding dogs or kittens
- Star Wars references that don’t include a sand person or bantha
More about the audition video:
- Don’t email the video file itself!!
- Upload the video to Vimeo.com or a similar free service
- Add a password to the video and send the link and password (we won’t share it publically if you don’t)
- Video quality isn’t critical but make sure the audition can be seen and heard WELL!
- We will consider parts for the THREE GIRLS submitted as a group (call your friends!)

- List of relevant experience
- You and your parents’ contact information (ask them first)
- Agency name (if you have one)
- If you have friends who are also auditioning please mention them by name
