Auditions are being held for the SLCC Boot-Camp short film:

Death of Me written by Bob Bedore - directed by Channing Lowe

The open casting session will be held on Thursday, June 6th, 2013 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at

the Salt Lake Community College South City Campus.

Story synopsis:

A successful writer, who has it all - popularity, wealth, a wife, and mistress is challenged by a

decision that will change his life forever, but not in the way he expected.

Characters Needed:

Brian Parker- Male, age 35-45. Tall, good-looking, strong presence, best-selling mystery

writer

Terry Kindle- Female, age 25-35, Brian's assistant, gorgeous model-type, the conniving

mistress who will do whatever it takes to keep her man

Shelley Parker- Female, age 35-45, Brian's wife, dying of cancer, frail, innocent, heart of gold

Jonathan- Male, age 25-35, Terry's ex-boyfriend, big, burly, muscular, hot-headed, stalkertype

Detective Paul Hartman- Male, age 45-55, balding, slightly effeminate, should have gone into

theater instead of criminal justice

Mary Stevens- Female, age 40-60, nurse, kind, soft, gently, motherly-type

Auditions for the SLCC Summer Student Film

Agenda:

Production will begin shooting on or around June 20th through the first week of August and will

take place in the Salt Lake area, we will be filming primarily on Tuesday and Thursday

afternoons. Rehearsals will be scheduled the week prior.

Copy and credits will be given and the final film will be submitted to appropriate festivals.
