We are looking to cast the following roles for an Overstock Spec that will be in production on Tuesday May 13, 2014.

Ted:

RATE: $100/day

Male. 35-50. Caucasian.

Ted is a department manager from upstairs. He thinks he’s best pals with the I.T. guys and tries to talk their lingo. He’s super cheesy and casually lingers around the I.T. department subtly trying to get them to fix his computer. Think the boss from Office Space.

Kristi:

RATE: $100/day

Female. 25-30. Caucasian.

Kristi is a huge flirt. She has big ridiculous 80’s hair and always chews gum. Her favorite outfit is a oversized sweater with a matching belt. She makes the whole office uncomfortable as she struts her stuff down the rows of cubicles. Think the valley girls from Clueless.

Darrell:

RATE: $100/day.

Male. 30-40. Any Ethnicity

Darrell is the kind of guy that no one would dream of messing with. He’s huge, mean and intimidating...but dumb as bricks. The I.T. guys have hired him to transport secure files but he gets distracted by a hot girl walking by. Think in-your-face and crazy like Hulk Hogan, or silent but deadly like the Terminator.

Old Version of Cory:

RATE: $100/day

Male. 45-55. Caucasian.

In one of the videos there is a scene where Cory talks to his future self over videochat. The look of this person will depend on who we choose for Cory. Cory's description -

Cory is a computer hacker and proud of it. Cory is confident, brash and sarcastic. He controls the department and he’s so good with computers that management leaves him alone. He tells deadpan jokes. He thinks he’s great with the “ladies.” He’s overweight (but is in denial) and most often programs with a bag of cheetos in hand. He likes Pink Floyd, Styx and REO Speedwagon. He’s 28. He has a ponytail, wears jeans and a wide variety of black tee shirts. Think Jack Black meets Newman in Jurrasic Park. Also, Simon the I.T. guy from the British Office.
