Needed:

A Comedian to host a Saturday Night Live Party on Saturday, June 13, 2009, for the Logan Dance Club. Event will be held at the Logan Golf & Country Club, Logan, UT, near Utah State University.

This is for a group of about 50-60 couples, ages 30ish to 70ish, that meet quarterly for good friendship, good food, and a dancing band. 

The theme for this party is  Saturday Night Live: The First 5 Years -
think Steve Martin, Killer Bees, Coneheads, John Belushi, The Blues Brothers...

They are in need of someone who can MC/Host the event and provide Comedy. 

Guests arrive at 7 pm for drinks and appetizers. There will be a dance lesson about 7:30 pm (the hustle, and others), to warm up the crowd, followed by a costume contest (recognition of great costumes).  Dinner starts at 8 pm. 

At about 8:30 pm, they need a comedy act / series of skits (are flexible) of about 25-30 minutes, with jokes varied and tasteful. (No vulgarity, sexism, or racism, but everything else is fair game!)

The group is a mixture of community members - teachers and counselors, business owners, managers, university professors, etc.

Following the Comedy Act, there is a band (Labcoat) to provide dancing until about 1 am.  You can stay and play or be on your way.

Compensation is negotiable.  Dinner and dancing provided for Comedian(s) and their partners.
