An advanced Film Production class at Salt Lake Community College, is producing a 15 minute film entitled “Turning Point,” intended for submission to appropriate film festivals this spring.

Production will begin shooting the second week of October and will take place in the Salt Lake area throughout October and November. They will be shooting on a Sony High Definition camera and/or Canon 5D Mark II.

Below is a character breakdown for the characters they are looking to cast. The casting session will be held at SLCC Redwood campus on Wednesday, September 29th from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Callbacks will be on October 1st, 2010, and you will be notified 24 hours or earlier in advance if your attendance is desired.

Being a student project, they will unfortunately not be able to financially compensate any actors. They will, however, provide all participating parties with a digital copy and/or DVD of the completed project and acting credit in festivals and exhibition.

Thank you for your support of local student filmmakers.
