BRING OUT YOUR INNER GEEK! No experience necessary!
The Spokane Entertainers Guild is looking for other Volunteers for THE FIRST ANNUAL SPOKANE RENAISSANCE FAIRE!
Dates for the Faire: September 25th & 26th and October 2nd & 3rd 2010. (first weekend in Sept / last weekend in Oct)
LOCATION, DATE, TIME:
Fire Station #4, 1414 W FIRST Avenue, Spokane, WA
SATURDAY, JULY 10TH, 2010 ONLY 10 AM - 3 PM
We need you to help us make a difference in the community!! The best thing about joining the Spokane Entertainers Guild is that you get to help us raise funds for other non-profit organizations in the Spokane, WA area. Our goal is to help many different charities throughout the year and we need your support. The Renaissance Faire is just one of our planned events that will raise money for other organizations. Our chosen charity for this Faire is Cat Tales Zoological Park!
AVAILABLE ACTING ROLES
Courtiers
Ladies (minimum age 15)
Knights
Squires (minimum age 10)
Merchants
Peasants
Beggars
Rat Catchers
WE ARE ALSO LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCED EQUESTRIAN RIDERS FOR OUR JOUSTING TEAM! Men & Women are encouraged to apply!
When you fill out the application, please prepare to have fun but also provide:
•a brief history of your acting experience if you have any...NONE is required because we will teach you all you need to know.
•special skills – nun-chuck, bow hunting, ninja, sword fighting, horseback riding etc.
•any talents – musical, drawing, sewing, painting, etc.
•a prepared read which should include either a prose, play, speech or skit, etc. (we will also have materials for you to choose from)
•a SHRUBBERY (just kidding!)
•a positive, fun attitude
