Rodge (main
Character) a young inspiring writer gets out of class for spring break to find
his brother who he hasn't seen in a long time is taking him on a trip. He is
always in his notebook hiding away from life until experience
breaks his bounds threw SEX, DRUGS, and Rock N Roll.
This movie is based
in the seventies, rebellion, revolution, and experience is ideal of the film.

Character
Backgrounds
Rodge: Is a fairly
quiet kid in his teens and usually keeps his thoughts to himself. Ever since
his brother left two years ago, he hasn’t been exactly the same. The father was
already an alcoholic but it intensified when Michael left. Unfortunately, this
leaves Rodge to spend a lot of time in his room to avoid the drama. He has a
few acquaintances in school but no one that he regularly hangs out with, his
brother was his best friend.
Michael thinks of
himself of a revolutionary, which stems from him leaving home. He was the first
son and had some physical abuse as a child since he was the test run of
parenting. He habitually does drugs and drinks but only to ease the fact
he is unhappy. He wants to do something great but lives a very drifting sort of
lifestyle. He’s a juicy contradiction.
Brenda: Has a very
traditional middle class upbringing. She, like Michael feels the need to be important,
so this revolutionary movement fulfills her need to feel a part of something.
She was a straight ‘A’ student in school and tends to dumb herself down around
company. She still lives with her parents and constantly reassures them she
knows what she is doing. Part of the reason she is with Michael also stems from
the fact she had a very average and plain life.
Mom: Had Michael
first. Rodge came by accident. She was born in a family who didn’t have a lot
of money. They had enough to eat but still struggled and they only got presents
on Christmas. This led her to settle down with someone who is financially
secure, even though they have nothing in common. She started becoming fearful
of her husband a couple years before Michael left.

from 5pm to 8pm.
The casting call will be held at the International
Academy of Design and Technology Las Vegas located adjacent to Green Valley
Ranch at 2495 Village View Dr, Henderson, NV 89074. There will be water and
chairs at the front desk and where we will have someone walk you to one of the
classrooms for the audition.

Hello!
I am Sam Sánchez a senior student at
IADT and aspiring filmmaker. I am looking for casting for the film’s three
roles.
The
film is titled: The Flaming Seraph. It follows Abdiel a man with a feared and
violent past who now wanders the desert in guilt for his deeds. He has met a
young boy and reluctantly allows him to travel along with him. The are
discovered and stalked by a unknown Figure out for revenge for one of Abdiel’s
misdeeds.
The
film portrays the themes of guilt and forgiveness, and aims to show the
complexities and difficulty of making amends.
It
is set in a future wasteland and has a post apocalyptic, Si-Fi vibe.
The roles are:
Abdiel: Lead role 35-50
Figure: Supporting role
20-30
Kid: Supporting role
13-16
Abdiel: Male 50
Abdiel
is the main character of our story. He was born into a world of increasing
feudal conflict. As a child he was orphaned and left to fend for himself. He
was taken in by a school of martial artists/monks after caught stealing from
their kitchen. Though there philosophy was peaceful and they warned against
getting mixed up in the feudal wars, Abdiel's sprit would not stand inaction.
He
left the monks and joined one of the lords under the stewardship of a bounty
hunter. Although he was betrayed when the bounty hunt revealed his goal was to
prolong the fighting to ensure he always had paying customers. Disillusioned
and enraged, Abdiel killed the bounty hunter and began a rampage that would
send the region into a dark age.
One day after
Abdiel had murdered an influential family their orphaned child lamented about
now being alone in the world. At this point Abdiel realized the depth of his
actions and exiled himself to wander the desert in guilt.
When
we pick up with Abdiel he has been alone for some time but has been found my a
young boy who has only known the world as it is now and idolized the legend
Abdiel has written in his wake.
Figure: Male 24
The
figure is none other then the child Abdiel orphaned before exiling himself. He
is not aware of his importance to Abdiel nor is Abdiel aware that the boy he
left for dead has survived and grown strong. The figure is driven by the wrongs
done to him and by the region as a whole by Abdiel's hand. He has learned to
fight but lacks control due to his rage. Somehow he has found a surgeon and has
Grafted circular blades to his wrists which he has limited control of from a
distance. He is the Kids brother, but was not aware that the unborn child
survived Abdiel's murder of their brother.
Kid, Male, 13
Thought
to be dead after Abdiel's murder of his mother, the Kid is none other then the
figure's brother. Abdiel's attack has left an unmistakable scar upon the Kid.
The Kid has always been fascinated by tales of Abdiel and has developed an
obsession with him. He is aware Abdiel is responsible for robbing him of his
family but he is more occupied with his own future and becoming as self-reliant
as Abdiel. The Kid is light-hearted, naive, and does not understand why
other's, including Abdiel, cling to the past before the wars as he has only
known the world as it is now.
