We are currently seeking to fill the roles of 10 women, ages 50+ for an upcoming ad. The objective of the ad is to show Grandmothers throughout the last Century or so. 64 Counties over 64 Days. 2014 Colorado You Got Talent State Talent

Auditions for the entire State March 1 through June 15, 2014.

The Colorado You Got Talent will travel to 64 counties for auditions throughout the State in 2014.

Colorado You Got Talent, a Colorado Community Competition, kicks off the fifth season of auditions starting March 1. Youth and Adult Division Singers, Dancers, Magicians and Performing Artists from all over the state will represent their counties at the State Regional Finals. Winners of the State Regional Finals will move on to the State Finals at Town Hall Center in Littleton, CO on October 19, 2014 where each performer will compete for their county in a final showdown. Colorado You Got Talent’s purpose is to empower, inspire and motivate the Colorado community in performing arts. auditions for the 2014 season of the Neil Simon Festival will take place on Saturday, March 1st at two locations in Southwest Utah. From 9:00am - Noon auditions will be held on the Southern Utah University campus in Cedar City at the Music Building, Room 209. From 2:00pm - 4:00pm auditions will take place on the Dixie State University campus in St. George at the Eccles Black Box Theatre.

The Neil Simon Festival is looking for actors to perform roles in the following shows: Laughter on the 23rd Floor and The Star-Spangled Girl by Neil Simon; You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown by Clark Gesner, Michael Mayer, and Andrew Lippa; and Greater Tuna by Joe Sears, Jaston Williams, Ed Howard. The roles of Max Prince in Laughter on the 23rd Floor and Schroeder in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown have already been cast.

No appointment is necessary. Actors should come to one of the audition locations prepared to perform a monologue from a Neil Simon script, and either a second contrasting monologue or sixteen bars of a song from a Broadway musical. There will not be an accompanist at the audition, so actors planning to sing should bring a music CD, a guitar to accompany themselves, or be prepared to sing a cappella. Actors should also bring their current head shot and resume. The auditions are open to members and non-members of Actors Equity, however Equity actors should notify the Neil Simon Festival in advance of their intention to audition.

Actors cast in the 2014 season are expected to be in residence at the Neil Simon Festival in Cedar City, Utah from June 16th until August 23rd. Most positions will be paid with housing provided if necessary, however some roles offered will be apprenticeships with only housing provided.

The Neil Simon Festival is a 501(c)3 theatre organization in its 12th season, based in Cedar City, Utah. The Neil Simon Festival preserves and honors the works of playwright Neil Simon and his contemporaries, as well as fostering the development of new American plays that follow the Simon tradition of character-driven plots and comic introspection into the American experience.

We are looking for a few extras. $50 for one hour $100 for 2 hours.

It is for a commercial shoot on Tuesday February 18th. We will need men and women in business attire. We start shooting at 11 am and will finish around 2 pm.
