Synopsis:
“Drawn Out" is about a young man named Chris, who is stuck in a dead end job with people who are unaware of his existence. One day, Chris finds a magic pen that brings to life anything he draws. Chris uses the pen to draw up the perfect life. When his actions have unforeseen consequences, Chris will have to decide if his new life is worth keeping.

Nevada Conservatory Theatre is holding auditions for GREASE! on Saturday Feb 22nd at Alta Ham Hall, UNLV Campus

Seeking strong singer/actors who dance very well, as well as very strong dancers. Looking for all types and ethnicities. Almost all roles must look high school age: 15-18. Two older adult roles: 1 woman 35-70, and 1 man 30s-40s.

Please bring sheet music for your vocal selection in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided.
Please also bring pictures and resumes, stapled together.

At this time, there will be no Equity contracts and no paid roles.

10:00am STRONG DANCERS - Open dance call. All dancers must be warmed up and ready to dance at 10am. Combinations from the show will be taught. This is primarily a dance call, but if you are interested in singing as well, prepare 16 bars of an authentic 1950's song. Music from the show is also acceptable. Singing is not required at this call.

1:00pm STRONG SINGER/ACTORS WHO DANCE WELL - Come prepared to sing 32 bars of an authentic 1950's song. Music from the show is acceptable. Actors may also be asked to read from the script. Singer/Actors will dance at call-backs, but do not have to come to the 10am Strong Dancer call.
Singer/actor auditions will be by appointment only. Appointments will be distributed beginning at 10am at the audition location.

CALL-BACKS will be Sunday Feb 23rd beginning at 10am. Please do not audition if you cannot come to call-backs.

Location: Modern vacation home in Park City

Shoot date: One day during the first week in March (shoot date is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, March 6th)

TALENT NEEDS:

FAMILY OF FOUR (full day, 8 hours)

Mom + Dad – mid-30s to mid-40s

2 kids (boys or girls) ages 6 – 10

Caucasian (but also open to seeing some ethnic talent)

We are looking for people who have a 'Park City' look – so, stylish, fit + active. Ideally we'd like to cast a real family, but we can certainly mix and match if necessary.

Rate: Approximately $200 per talent, rate includes travel

IMPORTANT NOTE: For family castings, all individuals should be represented by Craze.
We will make an exception for this project only. If you submit a family member that is not currently represented by Craze, you should contact your agent and set up an interview as we have numerous opportunities for family bookings.

COUPLE (half day, 4 hours)

Man + Woman – early 30s to mid–40s

Any ethnicity as long as they have the same 'Park City' look – stylish, fit, + active.

Rate: Approximately $150 per talent, rate includes travel

This is a lifestyle project showing a family / couple in a vacation home. In addition to shots of the family hanging out in the home and by the fire pit, we may shoot one scenario of the family or couple in the hot tub (so talent should be comfortable in bathing suits and not have tattoos, or at least not prominent ones).

Also, we may have the family or couple on skis as if they just returned to the home after a day of skiing. We won't need them to actually ski down a slope BUT ideally they are skiers who are comfortable at least standing on skis.

CASTING: We are NOT holding a casting, just reviewing online submissions.
