Craze Agency president Troy Lee will be holding a Modeling workshop. The modeling workshop will cover all aspects of booking modeling jobs. You do not need to be a high fashion model candidate to benefit or book most modeling jobs in Idaho

What you will learn:

How to get the jobs over the competition, what the casting people look for when hiring models,  proper portfolio presentations, how to work in front of the camera,  interview do's and don'ts and  runway audition techniques.

Troy will also educate you on Commercial, High Fashion and Editorial print modeling, Stock photography, Promo, Convention, Brand Ambassadors, Commercials, Spokes modeling, real people and character faces modeling.

For over 28 years Troy has assisted and taught models how to book work in larger markets, appear in National and Local fashion magazines, book work in newspapers, catalogs and dozens of fashion shows. As with everything Craze does to assist the talent, this is not mandatory but offered to assist the talent in advancing their career.

This limited space workshop will be held on Friday April 4^th from 2:30pm-4pm , at the Las Boise Craze Agency office.

I have spent countless hours speaking with Catrine McGregor Casting about building the Idaho market. She is dedicated to making Idaho a hotbed for Talent projects. We need everyone at Craze Agency on board and professional to make this happen!!!

After 40 years of working professionally in the film industry, I am living in Boise. Though most my work is not in this area, I have committed to living here, and raising the professional bar.

Representative Tom Dayley and I have started a film advisory board, not linked to the State of Idaho in any way. The board is taking a different approach to growing the industry in this state. In doing so, we are focusing on building a stronger infrastructure in Idaho and helping local film makers in attaining their goals before we reach out to out-of-state film makers. Since the board’s inception, less than two months ago, we have made great progress. We now have an in-state full service entertainment law firm, and insurance company that will provide entertainment coverage, and a payroll company specializing in entertainment and SAG/AFTRA.

These are important issues!!!  They will help bring many more Commercials, TV, Modeling and of course film projects to IDAHO. This is what Catrine expects from our talent when we send her our talent for consideration for her projects and what Craze expects for our talent to understand for all types of projects we book!

·        Make sure for all acting auditions they have their sides when auditioning (if any) and that they are memorized! Make sure that they bring a Craze approved headshot and resume – STAPLED.

·        They need to clearly know what ‘slate’ means

·        Encourage them to STUDY

·        They need to know about the project is – I have people come in to audition for a feature film and they ask me if it’s a play

·        THEY NEED TO BE AVAILABLE FOR CALLBACKS AND THE SHOOT

·        If I see the same actor represented by two agents, he is automatically removed from further consideration on that project

Those of you who have worked with me for a while know how much I care about talent being represented properly, and how much I care about the process, because “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” There is a great process in place – let’s keep it that way!

We are doing this to help refresh us on your look and your acting or modeling skills. We want to give everyone represented by Craze a fair chance when an Audition comes that you fit the profile for.

Remember, we want to send you out as often as possible, but cannot send you if you are not ready (auditions are not the place to learn).  We are excited at the many upcoming projects and hope to see you at this Audition.

Modeling Opportunity Near Spanish Fork

Looking for models interested in participating in ads for aromatherapy products. These are photography shoots for print and web ads rather than 'acting' projects for film or video.

Demographic: Female, Age 20-30
Rate: TBD (but there will be pay)

My name is Ivan Ward and I'm a senior at the University of Utah.  For my senior film thesis, I'm producing and directing a short film entitled "40 Minutes", a fictional story about a boy who undergoes reparative therapy at the insistence of his parents.

For this short, I need a 45-55 year-old white male who would be willing to play the role of the boy's father.  We have a great cast so far, including Sterling Evans, Craze Agency's Carolyn Koskan, and John Hinckley.  

Our first shoot is coming up real quick--this Saturday (March 1) and Sunday (March 2).  Admittedly this is short notice, however the role is entirely physical and doesn't involve any dialogue.
