We need Orcs, Golgotians and Vitalions... basically soldiers of all races.

We have some epic action scenes to shoot and are looking for active extras to come be soldiers in MYTHICA. It's our two weeks of shooting on this four month epic adventure, so this will be pretty much the last time we need extras.

WHEN: Thursday and Friday, 6th and 7th of March. 8am to 6pm.
WHERE: Little Sahara Recreation Area (66 miles south of Provo)

We are looking for extras for the feature film "DON VERDEAN: BIBLICAL ARCHAEOLOGIST."

This film is a comedy directed by Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite, Nacho Libre, Gentlemen Broncos).

Starring: Danny McBride (Eastbound & Down, This is the End), Sam Rockwell (Ironman 2), Amy Ryan (Gone Baby Gone, The Office), Jerrmaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords, Men in Black 3)

 

Shoot Date: Thursday, March 6th

Rate: $101.50 for the day, up to 12.5 hrs where you will need to fill out a voucher and will be paid through a payroll company within 3 weeks or less.

         If you work only for 6 hrs or less, you will be paid $50 cash at the end of the work day. But if you do go over 6 hrs, you will be compensated the full $101.50 and can be on set for up to 12.5 hrs.

        You DO NOT get to decide on how many hours you will be on set. The 6 hr or less rule is depending on what production will be deciding to do on a day by day basis, so please have your day completely open if you do submit.

Lunch will only be provided for those who only work more than 6 hrs. Snacks/beverages will be provided to everyone. Breakfast is on a day by day basis depending on call time.

Shooting location: Some where in Tooele, UT.

Call Time: We will not have a call time untill after 6PM on Wed. March 5th. If you do submit, please make sure you have the day completely open. It may be as early as 7:00 AM.

Metamora Films is producing a student narrative, short film. (Academy of Art, San Francisco) Film is about a father spending one more day with his daughter before having to surrender to prison for ten years. This is a character driven, emotional film. We should be able to shoot film in one weekend.

No pay but food and credit will be provided. You may be chosen to re-shoot the film at a later date for film festivals, online distribution and more. (There would be pay for a re-shoot)

Auditions this Wednesday and Saturday evening 7:00-9:00 pm, March 5 and 8.

Location: 3255 W 7675 South, West Jordan Utah.

This is for a televison program. We'll be doing two or three episodes on spec to see if the money people like what we can do. If they do, it will become a paying gig, details which will be negotiated at the time. The first trial episodes will be nonpaying.

It's a half-hour show of discussion on a topic, something like The View mixed with The Daily Show mixed with The McLaughlin Group. A topic will be chosen for each episode, the host will introduce it in the first segment, discussion will take place among the host and four others in the second, and each person will offer a conclusion in the third.

We're looking for all ages, both sexes, all points of view, people who are articulate and knowledgable about issues and events, and people who are engaging on camera. We are not looking for only "beautiful" people.

But we are absolutely looking for people who are reliable and who can discuss controversial topics in a respectful and mature manner. We're not interest in a shoutfest.

Auditions will be an interview and a mock discussion with several other auditioners. We're looking for a host and more than four people to be on the discussion team so we can mix the group up and allow for conflicts of schedule. To book a time
