We are producing a couple of PSAs in conjunction with the Faith Counts Alliance.  These are interdenominational messages whose goal is to express why faith is important to society.

At this time, we will be producing two ads: one about two pan handlers and one about cyber bullying.

WHO

Stereotypical Homeless Man – male; Caucasian; age 40-60; very scruffy, long hair and beard, worn and haggard-looking

White Collar Panhandler – male; Caucasian; age 30s; clean cut business man; he has only recently fallen on hard times

Cyber Bully Victim – male or female; any ethnicity; age 18-22; we may cast more than one and are looking for a variety of types.  We will see both the “typical” nerdy type victim and the once popular, but has fallen out of grace with the mean girls or guys type.

Cyber Bully – male or female; any ethnicity; age 18-22; again, we’ll look at a variety of types for this role and may have those coming in for the Victim read for the Bully and vice versa

Draper Arts Council will hold auditions for its June Amphitheater show on Tuesday, March 25 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, March 26 from 7-8 p.m. Callbacks will also be on March 26 following the hour of auditions. All will be held at the Draper Amphitheater (944 East Vestry Road). The performances will be at the Amphitheater June 6, 7, 9, 13, and 14.

Audition forms and information sheets are posted on the art council website. Auditioners should come prepared to sing 16 bars of a song in the style of the show (an accompanist will be provided) and learn and perform a short dance sequence.

So what is the show? A down-and out skid row floral assistant becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood. Soon "Audrey II" grows into an ill-tempered, foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore who offers him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite, finally revealing itself to be an alien creature poised for global domination!

The GREAT Safari Adventure Show is a new family show production coming to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, & Atlanta! The Show will be the only interactive and LIVE ON STAGE family show that combines the story telling, colorful animal costumes, music, song, dance, and exercise movements that will keep children dancing & moving throughout the show. We are a Start Up production and hold a Non-Profit Organization Affiliation


The Great Safari Adventure Show is a story that brings today’s youth problems and demonstrates how one can handle it with the support of family and friends. It brings bullying, lack of confidence, belief, and trusting in one’s self in a format that children 5-12 will understand. More importantly, the show will demonstrate how a child can overcome these challenges by looking within him/herself and using his family and friends for support.

THE STORY LINE

In the midst of a rainforest, desert prairies, and the alligator pit, Coleman experiences untold adventure, beyond his wildest dreams.
