Synopsis:
COFFEE is a short film about Gabriele, twenty-something woman dealing with a major personal issue when she meets John, a man in his sixties, who strikes up a conversation with her, igniting a verbal sparring match that ultimately allows them to face their separate problems together.

Character BIOS

[JOHN SANTO] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 55-65]

JOHN is a lonely man after his wife died. He spends much of his time travelling, seeing places he always thought he’d do with his wife, once he retired. But he is still young at heart, and in many ways, body. An attractive female still keeps his interest, but today’s youth are boring to him, too shallow to see past texting and bad music. John seeks companionship, but he is quite picky about his company.

GABRIELE is a loud, carefree twenty-something who has no problem speaking her mind and stomping on the weak at heart. She is also vulnerable, in ways far deeper than one expects after meeting her. Finally, she is just plain lousy at dealing with her life as it is and seeks others to help get her through it all.

How To Get To InNEVation:

This is in an office park complex, just off the I-215 at Decatur on the south side of the valley. Exit at Decatur and head south; turn RIGHT onto Badura, then RIGHT onto Edmond Street. Turn left into the office park complex with TWO buildings. InNEVation is in the building at the west end of the lot. Enter through the front doors and go up to the third floor. Look for the DSLR Filmmakers sign in the lobby, or ask the receptionist, and he/she will direct you to the green room for sign in.

The side of the building that you can see going west on the 215 says SWITCH in red and black letters, but the buildings themselves only have the address on the side you can see from the lot.

The style you should wear: either nice clothes like you'd expect a parent to wear to a graduation or really weird, crazy clothes that are so extreme you wouldn't think anyone would wear them to graduation.
(Yup, there are some strange folks at Paradise High, so if you'd like dress up crazy in the colors listed above, by all means please do so!)

Paradise High is a delightful web-series with one season already under its belt. The series was made by East Hollywood High School, located in West Valley City, Utah. But, don't let knowing it's made by a high school make you think for a second it is any less than the highest quality web-series' on the net today. See for yourself. Because this series is made by a high school with an extremely limited budget, this is NON-PAID. But, this wonderful experience helps the students of East Hollywood in so many ways, and you can feel really proud about being a part of it. Plus, the show is hilarious, thoughtful, and top-notch in quality, so you can also feel awesome being in it!
If you are interested, we want you there! No need to audition! Please come join us already in costume. We'll be shooting outside, so please be prepared for that with sunscreen, sunglasses, etc.
