Music Video Audition!

What: We are looking for 2-8 dancers for a music video to be filmed October 24th,25th,26th. This is a fun, (tasteful) and sexy music video with some intermediate hip hop choreography included. Think Britney Spears meets Aaliyah meets Justin Bieber. We are looking for fit and attractive females with dance experience. This is a great opportunity for exposure and perfect to add to your resume/experience. Cast will meet for 2 relatively heavy rehearsal days prior to filming to learn dance choreography and assign roles. Pay will be determined based upon experience and hours put into project. Audition will include 2-3 8 counts of choreography plus some freestyle. Come ready to dance! Bring all your swag and a positive attitude =)

Hey guys. We have a 4-day shoot in and around the immediate Boise area in mid-September and are in need of a make-up artist to very basic make-up and hair. It's the kind of shoot where we're going from location to location very quickly and really only need someone to keep the shiny spots off and stray hairs in place.

Hey everyone! I am producing a web series this fall and we are in the process of casting the lead role. This web series is currently titled "The Leia Project." It's a 'Star Wars' parody with a little 'Mean Girls' thrown in for good measure. We are currently casting LEIA, a spunky early 20's type, with longish dark brown hair, and brown eyes. If you've ever been told you look like Carrie Fisher/Princess Leia, please submit! NOTE: Leia will be costumed in each of the costumes she wears throughout the 'Star Wars' films including the SLAVE LEIA metallic bikini. This project is NON-PAY at this point and we will be filming around Utah County on various days in September and October, dependent on actors/crew schedules. As part of the Salt Lake Community College Film Department, students will produce several short projects over the course of the semester. Actors are needed for these projects.

A casting session will be held at SLCC Center for Arts and Media at the South City campus on Monday, September 8th and Wednesday, September 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the sound stage, room 1-046 (South East side). There will be signs posted directing actors to the auditions. Parking for this will be in LOT 1. This will be an open casting call. Actors are to come prepared with a headshot, resume, and monologue. However, sides will be provided, and headshots will be taken if needed.

Story 3:
We want to tell the true story of someone RETURNING HOME to another after a long time away.  Were you born abroad, but moved to the US as a young child, and you've never been back?  Maybe you want to see the places you barely remember from childhood?  Or perhaps you were adopted and have yet to return to your country of origin - and are now looking for answers?

Whomever we move forward with, we'd want to document their travel experience through video, photos, and social media.

The Publishing Services Department is producing a new short video featuring the story of Olives Aoy – a humble Spanish man who changed the world through service in education. We are seeking an actor to play Olives. Auditions will be held tomorrow (Thursday, August 28th) at the LDS Motion Picture Studio in Provo. Please review the general information below.

 

CASTING:  OLIVES AOY, born on the island of Menorca off the coast of Spain. A slight but energetic man in his sixties. Had a broad brow, a high forehead, and intellectual face.

The actor portraying Olives should be no taller than 6’…preferably between 5’5 & 5’9; Will consider actors between the ages 55 & 85; Moderate to fluent Spanish speaker. 

ACTION:  This is a non-speaking role, but the actor cast will be required to teach a brief Primary lesson in Spanish.

LOCATION:  A studio in Provo

COMPENSATION:  Rate negotiable starting at $400+10% – based on experience.

There is nothing to memorize since the script doesn’t have any spoken dialogue, but they should come prepared to teach a 1 minute lesson in Spanish from the LDS Primary Manual  geared towards 10 year olds.
