Auditions will be held in the Gates Room of the downtown Boise Library! at 715 S. Capitol Blvd, 83702, on Sept 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sept 28 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Performance dates will be Nov 7-22, Fridays and Saturday nights, in Boise. Rehearsals will begin the week of September 29.

A championship professional international race team is looking for 2 Models / Flag Girl to help showcase our race cars. The races offer exposure to approximately 100,000 fans and are broadcast on NBC Sports a couple of weeks later. Although we cannot guarantee that you'll be on TV it is certainly a possibility.

The opportunity consists of posing alongside our drivers during autograph sessions, holding a flag in front of each of our two race cars in pit lane before the race begins, smiling for photographs, etc. It may also include helping to showcase the cars in the paddock area between races, etc.

Interested parties MUST be able to be at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah THIS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY all day September 12-13th. Compensation is $300 total for the 2-day period.

A faculty-directed project for the education of film school students, to be posted online.  You can view our previous work on YouTube at “Film School at NNU”.

The Story: “A subway station attendant encounters the world of social media with tragic results when he saves the life of a boy who falls on the tracks.”

Shooting Location: Near Boise, Idaho

Shooting Dates: Weekends of 9/27, 10/18, 11/15, 11/22, 1/24, 2/7 (mostly Saturdays only, but dates and days are somewhat flexible.  These are the dates we’ve reserved, and will not necessarily be filming on every single one, but those interested in major roles should be available those dates).

Audition Dates: Saturday 9/13, Monday 9/15, Saturday 9/20 if needed.  Will accept video auditions or prior work through agents only.

STARRING ROLES (paid)

OTIS LINCOLN:  A Morgan Freeman type, Otis probably should have retired by now from the job he loves as a subway station attendant.  Prefer African-American, but will consider other ethnicities based on talent.  Appears in 17 of 18 scenes.

RICKY: 12 year old boy, not a geek, not a jock, but lives in the digital world.  He’s not sure what to do when real people talk to him.  Appears in the 6 major scenes.  Prefer caucasian but will consider others.

KEN: Otis’s boss.  Middle-age blue-collar worker.  Any ethnicity.

 Producing a series of video vignettes to help train ward financial clerks.  These live portions will enhance the online training that is mostly animated.  The script puts each of the characters listed below in situations common to interactions involving ward financial clerks (tithing settlements, printing out and correcting ward members’ financial records, etc.).  The scenes are not scripted and will have narration over the top, but will require some adlibbing.

PROJECT: "OUTSIDE IN"

"Outside In" is a senior project student film shooting on the weekend of October 4 & 5, with rehearsals and location blocking on September 27 & 28.

The finished product will be showcased in Park City by the Art Institute during the 2015 Sundance Film Festival.

This is a dark comedy about mistaken identities involving an attempted physical assault of one of the employees of a failing video rental store.

Characters --

STEVE:
The middle aged, beleaguered manager of the failing store.

HEATHER:
Late teens/early 20s -- pretty and flirtatious -- must have the ability to cry and scream and freak out.

DAVEY:
Late teens/early 20s -- a typical lazy teenager, always late to work -- has a serious crush on Heather.

TODD:
Mid-to-late 20s -- the attacker; medium build.

Sides will be provided on the day of audition. Photos/Resumes not required but recommended.
