Casting: Hello Boise Performers!! My name is Kyle Daniel Barrow (Director, HomeGrown Theatre's Every Man Shift (for all the rest), Horrific Puppet Affair II; Cancer Caper, DIRT, Polaroid Stories)
 I am directing a play with Green Zoo Theater starting next month. We don't have a rehearsal schedule yet (looking at the last weeks of February and the first two weeks of March) but tech will be March 14 & 15 and performances will be March 19-21 at The Crazy Horse and 26-28 TBD.
Its a short run, a short rehearsal process and we will be performing at two different venues so I need folks who can think on their feet. The play is an original script by Thomas Newby (Toast) called Child Killers. The story takes place in a waiting room in The Cosmic Other and the characters are Abraham (of the old testament), Medea (of the Greek Tragedy), Andrea Yates (convicted of drowning her five children in 2001) Dave (their customer service representative) Chimalli (an Aztec chieftain) and an unseen interviewer named Phil (with a direct line to "God" via pneumatic tubes). As you can guess it is a very dark comedy about belief, faith and sacrifice. Let me know if you are available or interested and we can talk further. Casting will be based greatly on availability. Music Video for the Music Artist: Sala

CenterPoint Legacy Theatre announces auditions for ‘Dirty Rotten Scoundrels’ on Saturday, January 31. Vocal auditions will take place from 9:00 AM- 12:00 Noon, with dance auditions at 1:00 PM. The show runs April 20 through May 16. Jim Christian will direct and music direct, and Jessica Merrill will provide the choreography.

Bring any conflicts from January 31 through May 16 along with a headshot and resume to auditions. Callbacks are tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, February 4. First cast meeting will be Saturday, February 21. Rehearsals will begin Wednesday, March 4.

Auditions are open to performers 18 years of age and older. All roles are open. Come prepared to sing one minute or less of music in the style of the show. A pianist will be provided. Please no acapella singing or pre-recorded music. Everyone will need to attend the dance audition. Women will need to wear their character shoes. Also, please come prepared to say a phrase in French or speak with a French accent.

Auditions will take place at the theatre located at 525 North, 400 West in Centerville. Enter in the building on the west side basement entrance. Please email the theatre at kdavies@centerpointtheatre.org to schedule an audition time.

The break down of what talent will be compensated with  two concert tickets of their choice to one of the nights ,( Saturday the 24TH may be the only exception if we have a vendor buyout for this night only.)

Downtown Films/Silver State Production Services is casting for a music video shooting this Friday and Saturday (1/23-24) to be directed by Colin Tilley. This is a non-union project.

1. Clint: Male, 35-60yr white-ish overweight, washed-up Elvis impersonator, black hair. This is a physical roll and involves a fall from standing onto a stunt pad. Dialogue roll (must read). $200/day. Working Friday morning-afternoon, avail both days preferred.

  Las Vegas and Los Angeles, will close out the current national round of tryouts. Auditions will be held at Bally’s Las Vegas on Feb. 12 and at the Los Angeles Convention Center Feb. 14 and 15.
