I am doing a shoot with on the 24th of April.  The basic concept is a Mother/Father and their child talking about video game ratings and what is the right choice for kids.

This is what we need:

  •   An African American Mother age 30-40

  •   An African American boy age 7-11 to play her son

  •   A Hispanic looking male 20-30 as store employee

  •   A Caucasian boy age 7-11

These are PSA’s

Rates: Approximately $400 

There is also a possibility that they may also using the audio for a radio spot if this happens there will be an additional $100 per person.

CBS' hit primetime show The Amazing Race is coming to Las Vegas!

So pack up your courage, get a teammate, and RACE down to Friendly Ford, north Decatur, just off the US-95, on Saturday, April 13th from 9am – 4pm to audition for your chance to be on CBS' hit show!

THE AMAZING RACE is a eight-time Emmy Award-winning adventure reality series hosted by Emmy-nominated host Phil Keoghan, which pits teams, each comprised of two members, against each other on a trek around the world. At every destination, each team competes in a series of challenges, some mental and some physical, and only when the tasks are completed do they learn of their next location. Teams who are the farthest behind are gradually eliminated as the competition progresses, with the first team to arrive at the final destination winning $1 million.

Contestants/teams will be selected based upon having the following traits:

  • Strong-willed
  • Outgoing
  • Adventurous
  • Physically and mentally adept
  • Adaptable to new environments
  • Interesting lifestyles, backgrounds and personalities

All contestants/teams must be United States citizens and be living in the United States, as well as:

  • All contestants must be in excellent physical and mental health.
  • All applicants must authorize Producers to conduct a background check.
  • All semi-finalists will be required to complete and timely return the Medical History Form (to be furnished to the selected applicants).
  • All semi-finalists must undertake physical and psychological examinations and testing (to be conducted in Los Angeles by medical personnel selected by the Producers) and meet all physical and psychological requirements.
  • To receive an invitation to be a semi-finalist, each applicant must complete and timely return the Applicant Agreement Package (to be furnished to the selected applicants).
  • All semi-finalists must have a valid United States passport. Applicants who are selected as contestants cannot be candidates for public office until after the initial broadcast of all programs in which they appear.
  • Contestants must be 18 years of age or older in the state of Nevada.
  • Contestants MUST bring a valid photo I.D. with them and be prepared to fill out application paperwork! 
  • Contestants will have one minute (1) in length in front of the camera.
  • Contestants must be in line by 3:15pm.

Must be athletic. The shooting dates are April 19 and April 20th all day. Plus a meeting / scout prior to shooting on the 16th or 17th. Details to follow. Idaho-Film A Flush of Hearts -many roles

Clear as Mudd Films is holding open auditions for "A Flush of Hearts" My next film project shooting this summer. The auditions work a s a "warm read" which means I email you the sides you study up and come audition your best interpretation of the characters. I feel it works better than a cold read because it lets me see how you get into a character. So Look at the character list below, and decide which character or characters you would like to audition for. Then send me an email with the day and time slot you'd like to sign up for and I'll put you on the list. We will be doing them on Saturday April 27th from 4:00pm-8:00pm and sunday the 28th from 12:00pm-5:00pm so pick a time in that frame that works for you. I can get 3-4 people in every 30 minutes or so, more than one in a time slot is ok. any questions just ask. Either message me  your desired character and time at mattmudd@mycwi.cc

A FLUSH OF HEARTS CHARACTER LIST

ACE Male(18-30)-
A young, good looking man in his mid twenties. Ace is an aspiring poker pro who is down on his luck. He loves the game of poker, has played since he was a child, was coached by pros and is constantly doing everything he can to find his next game. He moved to Las Vegas from Boston, to live with his sister who was in nursing school there. His gambling addiction has led him into some trouble, because now he is indebted to a dangerous loan shark. Ace is a smooth talking con artist type. But, he has a big heart and it shows in his interactions with others.

JASON FITZGERALD Male (18-30)
Jason is a young man just out of high school, still living with his insane mother and her trucker boyfriend. He works part time. He finally sets out to take his sister, Jaymee’s cancer bills into his own hands because his parents won’t do anything about it. He befriends ace and finds out he has a natural ability to play poker. He is quiet and kind hearted until someone messes with him or someone he cares about, then he won’t shut up. He is the wouldn’t-hurt-a-fly type.

STEPHANIE PATRICK - Female(20-30)
Stephanie is Ace’s older sister, also originally from Boston. She moved to Las Vegas to attend nursing school there and ever since her brother moved in with her she has had to ‘babysit’ him. Both come from a trust-fund family, but unlike her brother, Stephanie still has money in hers. She is a softer spoken kind hearted and compassionate person. She puts up with a lot out of love and always tries to help those around her.


SAMANTHA ‘SAMMIE’ KINGSTON-
Female (15-18)
Sammie is a teenage girl who plays in the underground poker scene. She was coached alongside Ace and Phil. When her Father, Jack Kingston passes away, she uses poker to keep herself fed and to keep herself out of the system. She flies under the radar to avoid being picked up by the state. She becomes a makeshift coach for Jason after his falling out with Ace. She is sarcastic and spunky, but also very serious for her age.


FRANK VALINCIA- Male (40-60)
Frank is a revered loan shark in Las Vegas, and he does just that loans money to poor suckers who need it. But if they don’t pay it back he does more than just report them to the credit agencies. Frank is ruthless and heartless, he cares only about getting his money. Yet, he has a sarcastic wit and odd sense of humor about it. He is shorter and a bit stocky. He uses his enforcers Nick and Markus to help get things done.

MISTY CARLISLE- Female (18-25)
Misty is Aces estranged girlfriend. They have a complicated relationship. Misty is a stripper. And she fell in love with Ace. But, as of recently she only sees him when he is asking her to borrow money. Not knowing the reason for this Misty gets angry and breaks things off with Ace, but later realizes its not that easy when you love someone. Misty is fiery and independent. But she has a soft spot for the man she loves.

PHIL ROTHCHILD- Male (25-40)
Phil is an amateur poker player, who was coached alongside Ace and Sammie until he and Ace got in a fight during a major tournament and were suspended. He holds a rivalry with Ace and relishes any opportunity to break him. Phil is semi famous in the poker world due to a viral internet video depicting him freaking out after losing a game of poker and flipping the table over. Phil is short tempered and very self-centered.

JAYMEE FITZGERALD- Female (8-15)(depending on look)
Jaymee is Jason’s little sister. She has been diagnosed with brain cancer, she had the tumor removed but her parents didn’t have the money to pay for continued treatment so the cancer is spreading. Jason leaves the home to find money for her treatments, doing everything he does for her. Jaymee is mature for her age but very quiet. She loves her brother more than anything in the world.

LINDA FITZGERALD- Female(35-50)
Linda is Jason and Jaymee’s mother. She is a cocaine addict and alcoholic. She lives with her boyfriend Rob who is a trucker but doesn’t make enough money to cover Jaymee’s bills. She blows off the medical bills to buy drugs which is why Jason ends up leaving the home and taking Jaymee with him.

ROBERT COATES- Male (40-60)
Robert is Linda’s boyfriend. He is a redneck trucker and member of a motorcycle club.

NICHOLAS VOCHELLI- Male (25-40)
Nick is one of Frank’s enforcers. He speaks but only when spoken too. He is large and muscular and is partial to a wooden baseball bat as a weapon of choice.


MARKUS LOVELLE- Male (25-40)
Franks other large enforcer, who never speaks. He prefers the crowbar to do his enforcing.

EDWARD ‘EDDIE’ SIMPSON- Male (35-60)
Eddie is a family man who is indebted to Frank.

BOBBY KANE- Male(35-50)
Bobby is an underground poker player, who houses a regular game for criminals at his apartment. He has a very short fuse and doesn’t like Ace all that much even though he lets him play. He has a violent side that comes out when he’s mad. He’s on the lam for dealing drugs. He is severely grungy looking.

JOHNNY COE- Male (35-50)
Johnny is one of Bobby’s poker buddies, and seemingly the favorite, because he is the only one that can talk Bobby down from his outbursts. He also speaks for Bobby quite a bit.

SLIM- Male (25-40)
Contrary to his name, slim is a very large man. He is one of Bobby’s poker buddies.

TONY- Male (25-40)
Tony is a small squirrly guy. He is also one of Bobby’s poker buddies.

JULIAN SPITZER- Male (25-35)
A suave poker pro who hosts a monthly high stakes game at his upscale apartment. Spitzer is cocky and kind of sleazy in the way that a director of pornography might be. But he is well liked and a decent person to be around.

ZOE MANCINI- Female(18-30)
Zoe is a regular at Spitzer’s tournaments and frequents other amateur Poker tournaments. She is quite a draw for male poker players, as she usually dresses a bit scantily and uses that to her advantage in the game.

JOEY BIGSBY- Male (18-25)
Joey is a poker player who is coached by spitzer and a regular at spitzer’s tournaments. He dresses and talks like a ‘wangster’

LEWIS MOORE- Male (35-50)
A regular at Spitzer’s tournaments.

DAVID GORDON-Male (40-60)
One of the announcers for the tournament.

MIKE ATTCHISON- Male (35-60)
One of the announcers for the tournament.

LENNY PETROV- Male (30-60)
A russian poker player in the tournament.


Non speaking characters include, Poker players in scenes 10, 20, and 22, street walkers in scene 1, a tournament director, dealers, the older gentlemen sammie plays blackjack with, patrons at the café, mothers and children at the park, and tournament audience members. EXTRAS can play multiple parts. And smaller speaking roles can also be extras.

Idaho -Two Theatre Auditions! many roles

April 13 -- Knock 'em Dead auditions for "The Clone People", a thriller directed by Mary Marquardson McGreaham. Needed are 4 men and 5 women. Auditions are at 10am, at the theater, 415 E Parkcenter Boulevard, Boise.

April 20 - 22 -- Encore Theater auditions William Shakespeare's "Loves Labors Lost". Saturday, April 20, at 10:00am; Monday, April 22, at 6:00 pm.
     Needed are 4 men and 4 women, plus there are 9 other roles that can be either gender.
     This show will be presented as a Bollywood musical so be prepared to dance and sing one verse of "America the Beautiful," a Capella. Also please prepare a 1 minute Shakespearean monologue of any type.

KIDS 9-12 -ALL ETHNICITIES

KIDZ BOP, the #1 music brand for kids in the U. S., is searching for the next kids super group! This group will be an act that represents the brand in our commercials, music videos, singing on the records, live touring shows/appearances and even a possible television show! We are looking for boys and girls ages 9-12 all ethnicities. Must be able to REALLY sing AND dance AND act, if you can also play an instrument that is a huge asset. We are looking to find the next group of kids who are going to be STARS! We are looking for SAG/AFTRA, SAG/AFTRA Eligible and even non-SAG/AFTRA.... we will take anyone if you are talented, but be aware this is a several year commitment, which includes long days, heavy travel, etc. We are looking for kids all over the US. We will also be interviewing ALL parents whose kids are considered.

INSTRUCTIONS
All kids must send in a video to be considered. Please follow all directions completely and accurately.

1. Please have child hold up a blank piece of paper with their name and phone number written on it. Hold the paper underneath their chin and say their name, phone number and where they are from. They may then put the paper down out of sight.
2. Have the child tell us about themselves for 30-45 seconds. Tell us things like how long they've been singing and dancing, any instruments they play, awards, hobbies, sports, anything unique or special about them or they can do, etc.
3. Sing a one-minute song of their choice a cappella. This means there should be no music or noise in the background at all, just singing.
4. Perform a 45 second choreographed dance routine to music.
5. State your name and phone number again.
6. email us a link to your audition reel on YOU TUBE or any other place you upload your audition to. Auditions will only be viewed from a link not opened directly in email to ---KBOP2013@gmail.com

We will need one receptionist - this is a non speaking role. She will sit behind a desk greeting a patient, handing a tablet etc.

I would like to audition  potential female  receptionists:

We will need one doctor
50-75 years old Speaking part $250-$350 pay

We will need one Male patient 23-30 years old Speaking part $250-$350 pay

We will be filming inside of a doctors office. The shoot should take half a day to a day max. We will probably shoot on a Saturday within a month
