Rate: No pay - but copy, credit, meals, IMDB, Film Festival entries. Also a possibility for some future pay contingent on investment funding for the remainder of the season for those still in the cast (no guarantee of course, but the exposure itself will be good). There will be somewhat of a gap between the 1st and 2nd episode for Season 2 as a result. Like last year, we plan on 10 episodes.

SYNOPSIS: The Earth has been mostly destroyed as a result of World War IV (Day Zero). Radiation and fallout from the global attacks affected most of those who survived, regressing them into a primitive-like state. The fairly scattered, infected "Hybrids" hunted down and killed nearly all of the remaining unaffected humans. A group of survivors in Utah are left to fend for themselves against
both Humans and Hybrids.

"REQUIEM" LOGLINE: The survivors attempt to make their new home hospitable, while another group is on the hunt for Jim Lecter.

Those cast here will be working (though not necessarily every episode) alongside Ken Applegate, Emily Guglietti, Cal Nguyen, Deven Skye, Richard Dean Craze, Julie Touchet Craze , Ethan Aguilar, Scott Smith and Kabrina Miller Craze, who were all from Season 1. It is advised that you watch at least some of the episodes from that season at this link: http://blip.tv/dayzerotv

*PLEASE BRING YOUR HEADSHOT AND RESUME STAPLED TO THE BACK
Thank you!

Day Zero Season 2 New Character BIOS
Episode 2x1: Requiem

[BENJAMIN (BEN) LOTT] [MALE] [early to late 50s] - SEASON REGULAR/POSSIBLY RECURRING - Ben has handled a lot, having served 25 years in the Secret Service (16 of them for the last known U.S. President, that Jim Lecter purportedly assassinated). That President served nearly four terms in office, only shy three months for a full last term. During the raids after the biochemical nuclear attacks of Day Zero, Ben witnessed from afar all of his fellow agents burn to death and/or blown to pieces while in the aftermath, the rest became Hybrids. He vowed to rebuild the government and recruit a team to obliterate them en masse. He is compassionate about humanity but is open to having the ends justify the means in the After World.

[TIRAS ABEL] [MALE] [late 20s to early 30s] - SEASON REGULAR/POSSIBLY RECURRING - Tiras is a by-the-book type who has had a life of service to country. He is rational and practical but is sometimes too loyal to a fault, particularly with his boss, Benjamin Lott. He takes orders seriously, but questions any action that could result in death of innocents. He was an expert sniper and scored marksman many
times during his military service of nearly a decade.

[NAMAAH CAIN] [FEMALE] [early to mid 20s] - SEASON REGULAR/POSSIBLY RECURRING - Namaah, a former librarian and historian, is realistic about her situation in the post-apocalyptic environment, and is caring of others but tends to make excuses for questionable ideals Ben holds. She was brought in by him happily due to the seemingly "safe" surroundings and strength in numbers she believes the group has, if not simply because they are trained professionals.

[DIANA CANTARAY] [FEMALE] [early to mid 30s] - GUEST STAR/POSSIBLY RECURRING - Diana claims to be knowledgeable about most subjects. She has a bachelor degree in forensics and has been a supporter of the previous government that was killed off during Day Zero. She shares intentions with Ben to rebuild the government and society at large, and hopes to install Ben as the new United States
President by proving his leadership abilities as an asset to any living American that are left.

Please let Craze know if booked!

Utah- “Bountiful’s Got Talent,”

April 22, 2013

Organizers want to see a variety of local talent at the auditions for “Bountiful’s Got Talent,” set for April 25, May 2 and May 4 at Discount Music in Bountiful. Though most people who try out are singers or musicians, anyone with an onstage talent is welcome.

“A couple of years ago we had two dancers who were finalists,” said Richard J. Watson, who is helping to organize the show. “If someone wanted to do something new, like comedy, that would be interesting.”

This is the first year that the city has held three potential audition nights. The extra evening was added to give more local hopefuls the chance to show what they can do.

“The interest has become big,” said Watson. “Last year, we had several people call and say they wish they could have made it.”

All three days of the audition will begin at 6 p.m. Participants are required to fill out an application form in advance.  Each audition window will be two minutes long, and all auditions will be judged.

The panel of judges will select a total of 12 finalists, who will perform June 21 at 9 p.m. at the Main Bowery Stage at Bountiful City Park. The top three winners will receive cash prizes, with first place winning $300.

For more information and audition applications, contact Brad Johnson at 801-295-4976 or send an e-mail to parkconcerts@bountifulutah.gov. Discount Music is located at 412 S. 424 West, while Bountiful City Park is located at 200 W. 400 North.

“Even if you’re nervous, come try out anyway,” said Watson. “Everyone else is nervous, too.”
