Utah-Pioneer Memorial audition paying1

Auditions for PTC productions of both Much Ado About Nothing and A Few Good Men will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Callbacks are scheduled for Wednesday, October 30, 2013. Exact callback times will be announced to auditioners.

AEA-only auditions will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, but AEA members may sign up for any time slot. Non-AEA auditioners may audition from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on that same date.

 

Auditioners should indicate which show is of interest to them. Auditioning for one of the two shows or for both of them is perfectly acceptable, but the maximum time allotted is five minutes total per auditioner. Sides for both shows will be provided and available when signing up for a five-minute audition time slot.

 

All auditioners should sign up in advance in the PTC Business Office, located at 300 South 1400 East in Room 325. The sign-up sheet will be posted by noon on Tuesday, October 22, 2013. Auditions will be held in Room 237 at Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. A photo and resume are recommended.

 

Rehearsal dates for the production of A Few Good Men are Monday, December 30, 2013 through Thursday, January 23, 2014. A Few Good Men production dates are Friday, January 24, 2014 through Saturday, February 8, 2014. PTC Artistic Director Karen Azenberg will direct the production.

 

Rehearsal dates for the production of Much Ado About Nothing are Monday, January 27, 2014 through Thursday, February 20, 2014. Much Ado About Nothing production dates are Friday, February 21, 2014 through Saturday, March 8, 2014. Guest director Matt August will direct the production.

 

All roles in both shows are open. There are roles in Much Ado About Nothing for 14 men and 6 women. In the cast of A Few Good Men, there are roles for 17 men and 1 woman. Character breakdowns will be listed at the sign-up sheet, but auditioners are encouraged to be intimately familiar with the play and its characters beforehand. All auditioners must be 18 years of age or older.

Utah -Female Models 20's for apparal Company

Pay is $50 per hour for the fun job and will be 2-3 hours!!

We are in need of one or two models to model some sporting apparel for NewEra/5th & Ocean product for a sales meeting with our buyer from Fanzz located in Salt Lake City.  We would need them for 2-3 hours on October 15th beginning at 11:30am.  The clothing samples are size small, and they tend to run on the small size
  Attached are twp pictures of the size model used at a prior sales meeting.  Ideally, I would like a model that is an athletic build that has the look of a fashion forward sports fan in the 5'6" to 5'9" range.  Age range of mid to late 20's and also looks good in hats or knit caps.  It will be to model tops and caps only, no bottoms or shorts.  She should wear some fashion forward  jeans and shoes.....basically dress as if she was going to a sporting event or Super Bowl Party.  Finally, it is important she be someone who interacts well with people.

October 12 - 13 -- Stage Coach Theatre auditions "Parlor Games", a comedy by James C. Wall. Directed by Ted Pendleton.
    Needed are 4 men and 10 women, various ages.
    Auditions are at 2pm each day at the theater, 4802 Emerald, Boise.

October 26 - 27 -- Boise Little Theater audtions "Lie, Cheat, and Genuflect", a farce by Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore, directed by Sean McBride.
    Auditions are in the Green Room, 2pm on the 26th and 7pm on the 27th. Boise Little Theater is located at 100 E. Fort, Boise

November 23 -- December 7 -- Boise Music Week auditions "The Secret Garden". By appointment only. Needed are men/women ages 16 and up. Plus there are roles for two children: An 11 years old girl, with a strong alto voice (C4 - Db5). She has a few simple moves, but really does not dance in the show. While the role will likely be double-cast, it will still be a very big commitment, both in time and memorization. and an 11 year old boy, soprano (A3 - D5). The role will likely be double cast, and while it is not as big a role as Mary, it is still a significant one. No dancing.
