Character Bios:

1. (lead) Dale Green: Male, late 40s early 50s - late middle aged/just past their 'prime'

Cop for his whole life, he is very cocky and good at his job. He is very youthful up until his stroke which emotionally debilitates him. He tries to prove to his friend and boss, Lieutenant Kegan, that his body still works, but overexerts himself and goes mildly insane. Can't keep himself busy so he burries himself in his work.

 

2. Lieutenant Kegan: Male, late 40s early 50s - late middle aged

Boss of Dale and his best friend. He and Dale have been working together for 2 decades so a lot of history there. He is very supportive of Dale and almost serves as his more rational side. Hides how much he cares about people by covering with his job.

 

3. Terry Yukon: Male, mid 20s through mid 30s.

Terry is a madman serial killer who does mass stabbing. He is a braggart. feels the need to take trophies from his victims.

Idaho -2 stage auditions various ages

October 26 - 27 -- Boise Little Theater audtions "Lie, Cheat, and Genuflect", a farce by Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore, directed by Sean McBride.
    Auditions are in the Green Room, 2pm on the 26th and 7pm on the 27th. Boise Little Theater is located at 100 E. Fort, Boise

November 23 -- December 7 -- Boise Music Week auditions "The Secret Garden". By appointment only. Needed are men/women ages 16 and up. Plus there are roles for two children: An 11 years old girl, with a strong alto voice (C4 - Db5). She has a few simple moves, but really does not dance in the show. While the role will likely be double-cast, it will still be a very big commitment, both in time and memorization. and an 11 year old boy, soprano (A3 - D5). The role will likely be double cast, and while it is not as big a role as Mary, it is still a significant one. No dancing.

St. George-Utah auditions for “The Man from Earth,

October 24, 2013

The Space Between Theatre Company will hold auditions for the play, “The Man from Earth,” adapted from a screenplay by Jerome Bixby. The play is about a retiring professor who has just revealed to his colleagues that he never ages, and has been walking the earth for 14,000 years.

Auditions will be held at the DiFiore Center at 307 N. Main St. in St. George. The director is looking for men between the ages of 25 and 75 and women between the ages of 20 and 55. Auditions will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 and Saturday, Nov. 2.

Besides the actor auditions, The Space Between Theatre Company also has several backstage and front of the house positions to fill. Interested persons are encouraged to attend either of the auditions.

We are looking for in shape/fit men and woman with positive energetic attitudes to work with us at our Humara Community Outreach Events.  At these events staff will be responsible for event setup which includes some moderate lifting as well, so staff must be able bodied and able to lift at least 50 lbs.  Staff will be setting up chairs and tables creating a lounge area for the volunteers to relax and eat during the day, also a large tent.  At the event, volunteers will be coming together to build a playground in underprivileged areas in just one day.  During the actual build staff will help out wherever needed, keep the volunteers up beat and motivated and serve food and drinks for breakfast and lunch.  Post event staff is responsible for event break down and load in.  Again this is a volunteer charity event, so staff must be 100% positive, polite, up beat and energetic.  No negative attitudes can be afforded on what is going to be a very fulfilling event for all that attend. If you have any charity experience that is always a plus.

Rate: $14/HR

Events will be taking place on the Saturday date below, but there is a Friday setup that all must attend.
