Breakdown:

Wes:  Male, Caucasian, 40, business professional who wants to be a comedian.  He is friendly but a little anal.  LEAD.  THIS ROLE HAS ALREADY BEEN CAST

Kristen:   Female, Caucasian, 30’s-early 40’s, business professional.  She is very attractive and professional looking.  She is friends with Wes and is his liaison with clients.  There is some sexual tension between Wes and Kristen.  Good comedic timing.   SUPPORTING LEAD

Tony:  Male, Black, 30’s, Stand-up comedian.  He is a bike messenger who befriends Wes at the comedy club.  Cool, quick-witted, friendly.  Think Kevin Hart.  Good comedic timing.  SUPPORTING LEAD 

Reid:  Male, Caucasian, 50’s-60’s, business professional, Office curmudgeon.  He hates his job and wife but will never get a divorce.  He lives at the office to avoid going home.  He is blunt and kind of crusty at times but very likable.  Good comedic timing.  SUPPORTING LEAD

Judith:  Female, Caucasian, 30’s- 40’s, business professional.  She is quirky, artistic, creative, and used to be a ballerina dancer-so she is very graceful.   She loves the arts but is trapped in a business professional body.  She is doing a different accent in every scene.  Good comedic timing.  MUST BE ABLE TO DO MULTIPLE ACCENTS.  SUPPORTING LEAD

Nicki:  Female, Caucasian, 20’s, Assistant at consulting firm.  She is super cute, fun, and thin.  Sometimes she acts like a 14 year old tomboy, which is the opposite of how she looks.  Good comedic timing. SUPPORTING LEAD

Brian:  Male, Caucasian, 30’s, nerdy technology professional.  He is overweight, sloppy, nerdy, and an all-around nice guy.  He has a treadmill desk and is always trying to lose weight but to no avail.  He has a huge crush on Nicki and tries to impress her but is awkward when he tries.  Good comedic timing.  SUPPORTING LEAD 

Jennifer:  Female, Caucasian, 30’s, Wes’ wife.  She is very pretty and likes nice things- trips to Europe, remodeling the kitchen every 2 years, etc.  She is extremely uptight!  She is not very supportive of Wes’ dreams of becoming a comedian.  Good comedic timing.  SUPPORTING 

Enrique:   Male, Hispanic, 50’s, Wes’ boss.  He is the president of the consulting firm and is always trying to make everyone work harder and threatens to fire those who don’t.  He is “the man” and knows it.  DAYPLAYER- RECURRING

Matt:  Male, Any Ethnicity, 40’s-50’s, Runs a big corporation.  He is upset because Wes’ firm did not deliver contract within the deadline.  DAYPLAYER- POSSIBLY RECURRING

Waiter:  Male or Female (preferably male), Any Ethnicity, 25-35, Waits tables at the comedy club.  He is overzealous about sharing the Gospel and eager for any missionary moment.  He is almost too peppy for his job.  Good comedic timing.  DAYPLAYER- POSSIBLY RECURRING

Portly Comic:  Male or Female (preferably male), 25-45, Comedian at comedy club who steals Tony’s jokes.  Scummy and maybe fat and balding with bad teeth.  We are open to real comedians for this role!  They do not need to be actors.  They are doing a stand-up bit on stage at the club in this scene.  DAYPLAYER

Emcee:  Male or Female, Any ethnicity, 25-55.  He/she introduces each act at the comedy club.  Good personality.  DAYPLAYER-POSSIBLY RECURRING

The Grand Theatre, located at 1575 South State Street, Salt Lake City, will be holding auditions for "Once on This Island" by Lynn Ahrens & Stephen Flaherty on Saturday, November 16, 2013. The auditions will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will be held in the Annex, located at 1610 South 250 East, in the south east corner of the South City Campus. Andra Harbold will be directing the production and it will run March 6-22, 2014 at the Grand Theatre.

Those wishing to audition will need to call the Grand Theatre box office at (801) 957-3322 to schedule an audition time. Those auditioning can present a monologue or fable of their choice and 16 bars from either "Once on This Island" or another musical. Men and women of ethnic minority backgrounds are highly encouraged to audition.

Gerber is running a baby photo contest and winners may get up to $50,000.00 and a starring role in a national Gerber TV commercial. The contest is open right now and you can upload your baby’s picture for consideration. The baby model search is open to babies ages newborn to 3 years old with separate categories for each age group.

The Gerber baby is one of the most recognized images in the world – In 1928 Gerber held a contest to find a face to represent a baby food ad campaign. Artist Dorothy Hope Smith entered her simple charcoal sketch of a tousled-hair, bright-eyed cherub of a baby with endearing pursed lips.

The original contest was used for a promotion for a new product the company was launching. In 1928, the “Gerber Baby” sketch was introduced in an advertisement for the new product in the Good Housekeeping magazine. The world recognized sketch by Smith became the Fremont Canning Company’s official trademark in 1931. Fremont Canning later became the Gerber brand after a name change in 1941.

Even though the Smith sketch is still the companies logo, and has been for over 80 years, Gerber runs different ad campaigns nationally and holds still holds contests to find the perfect baby for their new ads.

The contest is open for submissions now and parents have until the end of the month to upload photos of their child. Once all photos have been added, the contest will close to new baby pictures and voting will begin. Voting will go on through the end of the year. In January of 2014 a baby will be selected for the grand prize, casting in the TV commercial. There will also be prizes awarded to runner ups which include a gift card to Apple iTunes.

GRAND PRIZE
At the end of the entry period, a panel of judges will set out to find photos of children from birth to preschool age that demonstrate visual appeal, expressiveness and consistency with Gerber’s heritage. The child’s photo that best meets these criteria will be selected as the Grand Prize winner and the winning parent will receive a $50,000 cash prize (plus $15,000, which can be used for taxes associated with award acceptance) and their child will have an opportunity to appear in a future Gerber advertisement.

MILESTONE PRIZES
In addition to the Grand Prize winner, six Milestone winners will be selected from each Milestone category – Birth+, Supported Sitter, Sitter, Crawler, Toddler and Toddler 2+. Fans of the Gerber Facebook page can vote once per Milestone category per day during the voting period, which will be announced on the Facebook page. Milestone winners will be determined based on Facebook fan votes.

Program Overview:

We are working on a Japanese Re-enactment TV show called "The World's Astonishing News" which is aired in Japan nation wide weekly.

We are working on a story of the re-enactment episode and will be filming in LA, Dumont Dunes (Sand Dunes, 2 hour driving from Nevada).

We would like to get one kid and one male talent for the main cast and would like to have an audition in Nevada.  

 Episode: A boy who stuck in the sand for hours and rescued.

-Nathan (6), white, boy, blond and short hair

He will be playing the main role of this story. He was stuck in the sand but we won't actually put him in a sand. Just film before and right after he was rescued.

-Greg (35-45), white, male, short/buzz-cut

He is the father of Nathan. Main casting.

The music video is for a local artist, the genre of music is pop/soul.

The Family History Department of the Church is creating a new video for the Roots Tech 2014 Conference, and is looking for some bilingual youth hosts. You are of a small group receiving this email because your talent profile indicates you are fluent in one or both of the required languages. Please read details below.

The modeling workshop will cover all aspects of booking modeling jobs. You do not need to be a high fashion model candidate to benefit or book most modeling jobs in Nevada.

What you will learn:

How to get the jobs over the competition, what the casting people look for when hiring models,  proper portfolio presentations, how to work in front of the camera,  interview do’s and don’ts and  runway audition techniques.

Troy will also educate you on Commercial, High Fashion and Editorial print modeling, Stock photography, Promo, Convention, Brand Ambassadors, Commercials, Spokes modeling, real people and character faces modeling.

For over 27 years Troy has assisted and taught models how to book work in larger markets, appear in National and Local fashion magazines, book work in newspapers, catalogs and dozens of fashion shows. As with everything Craze does to assist the talent, this is not mandatory but offered to assist the talent in advancing their career.
