DreamWorks Theatrical and the Australian entertainment group Global Creatures are casting for a major new touring Arena production, based on their acclaimed movie How to Train Your Dragon, set in a mythical world of Vikings and wild dragons. Nigel Jamieson, dir.; Gavin Robins, assoc. dir./aerialist advisor. Workshop begins in Melbourne, Australia Aug. 2011. World Tour begins early 2012.

Seeking—
 
Stoick & Gobber: males, middle-aged, any ethnicity, rough, tough, supersized, epic, commanding, very powerful, physically fit, battle scenes and some harness work, think World Champion Wrestler physical type, Scottish accents;
 
Performers: male and female, teens-20s to play teens, with exceptional physical skills, or aptitude to learn these skills, a mixture of circus, aerial performance, martial arts, parkour & freerunning, break-dancing, high level acrobatic and tumbling skills, flying, rope work, extensive slapstick, climbing pole, and teeter board, all featured roles being cast: Hiccup, Astrid, Snotlout, Ruffnut, Tuffnut, Fishlegs.

Auditions will be held by appt. only Mar. 7 in Las Vegas, and Mar. 8 & 9 in L.A. (Also to be held in NY, Toronto, London, Paris.)
