Festival puts out casting call for filming of promotional spot


Fremont Street businesses will offer discounted food and drinks Monday night to draw people for the filming of a promotional ad for the upcoming Life Is Beautiful music, food and art festival.

Filming will take place from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., Monday, April 29, in the Fremont East Entertainment District.

Silverstate and Life Is Beautiful organizers ask participants to confirm attendance at casting@filmsilverstate.com.

The two-day festival, Oct. 26 and 27, will showcase more than 60 chefs, restaurants, mixologists and winemakers, local artists and speakers across more than 10 city blocks.
