STORY LINE: A young boy adopts a dog that turns out to have the amazing ability to sing. A hot contender to by win a big television talent show, the dog meets with disaster when he's abducted by two sinister goons who are determined to pull the plug on his canine career. 

ROLES:

[AUSTIN] This 12 year old boy is an Army brat who has traveled the world. However, Austin is upset over his family's move to a new town,LEAD (1)

(VANESSA) Austin's little sister. 8 yrs old.

[FRANK] Stocky and imposing, LEAD (36)

[LLOYD] Frank's buffoonish sidekick, he's not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer. LEAD (36)

[GREG] 12 years old, this comically nerdy kid is a tech whiz LEAD (3)

[SUE] Age 34, Austin and Vanessa's mom, she's a lovely, warm and outgoing woman who holds down the fort during her husband's tour in Afghanistan. Initially disbelieving of Austin's claims about Dino, Sue realizes her error when she sees Dino competing on a top TV talent show, and she cheers Dino on during his ascent to stardom...LEAD (1)

[TAYLOR SMITH] Age 16, this adorable, unaffected girl won last season's ''Total Pop Star'' competition, and is already a huge star.LEAD (16)

[ANDREW] 36, he's Austin's dad, an Army officer who shares a loving bond with Austin

[RICK SIMPSON] This droll, sarcastic man is one of the judges on the talent show,LEAD (13)

[HUGH LAFLEUER] Another judge on the talent show, he's also a scathing, sarcastic guy who reacts brutally to poor performances...LEAD (13)

[T.J. ROSS] This cheery, telegenic TV announcer stars on the popular TV talent show, ''Total Pop Star.'' LEAD (13)  

[WISEMAN] This mysterious but funny man is selling puppies -- -- outside the local grocery store. LEAD (9)

[SECURITY GUARD] This gruff studio security guard, who is built like a pro linebacker, (53)

[OFFICER DIEGO] This no-nonsense cop arrests Lloyd, who is behaving suspiciously,

[MAILMAN] This dog-hating mailman 

[SHY GIRL] This shy girl in pigtails squeaks out a tune on the show...1 song, 1 scene (30)
