MARY LENNOX is about 11 years old
She speaks with a standard English accent.
While disagreeable at first, she must still be likeable.
The actress must convey Mary's emotions and have a strong alto voice (C4 - Db5).
She has a few simple moves, but no "real" dancing
The role requires a big commitment in time and memorization and will likely be double-cast.
COLIN CRAVEN is about 11 years old.
He speaks with a standard English accent.
Sickly since birth, he is bedridden (until the final scene)
He is a boy soprano (A3 - D5).
The role is significant and will likely be double cast
No dancing.
LILY CRAVEN - Soprano - Mary's aunt, Mr. Craven's wife, now dead.
MRS. MEDLOCK - Spoken - Mr. Craven's housekeeper.
