IF YOU ARE SERIOUS about auditioning for this film, please contact Catrine McGregor at c.mcgregor@mindspring.com  let her know you are represented by CRAZE AGENCY  for the script, the audition location, date and time. I am a long-time industry professional and am looking to grow a PROFESSIONAL group of actors and crew in Idaho so that the industry can grow here like we want it to. This means that I have built – and continue building - a database of good, professional, reliable actors in the Treasure Valley. IT ALSO MEANS THAT I HAVE A SIMILAR DATABASE FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE SET UP AUDITIONS WITH ME AND HAVE NOT SHOWN UP! Please understand that I can not cast anyone in a film who is not as serious and respectful of the process as the investors, director, producer, fellow actors…. PLEASE RESPECT THIS.

Layne: 16-18 Believes he is a God in the other Scout's eyes. Since the Scout Leader is never
around to help, Layne is always stepping in but he usually damages a
situation when he intervenes. His intentions are usually good but he over
steps whenever he's around Sean. He's a sincere kid with good intentions
but doesn't realize his mistakes. I'd compare him to Cramer from Seinfeld,
not in how crazy he is but the "great" ideas he has that end up screwing
over others in the end. I'd also compare him to Redford or the other scouts
(not Sam) from Moonrise Kingdom. Very clean, presentable, and takes things
very profesionally/seriously.

Sean:  16-18 Tries to keep to himself but won't let others push him around. He's
gay but just slightly noticeable.
Once the posters are seen the audience
should have a slight aha moment. He's a perfect mix between John Bender and
Sunshine from Remember the Titans. He's very dark but not afraid fight back
when necessary (Bender) but he's quiet and it's possibly because he's gay
and tries to hide it (sunshine).

Wendel: 11 or YOUNG 12 He's the youngest. He is short and either stocky
or skinny. He's the most down to earth and normal character. He can kind of
be seen as the voice of reason. He's like Piggy from Lord of the Flies
because he's incapable of doing things the others can do so his comments
are disregarded. Unlike Piggy, he's very motivated to always try his best
but often fails.

Dom and Tom:  13-14: Fred and George. That's all I can say. They're stupid but they
always come up with the most entertaining ideas. They're the comedic relief
for the film whenever things get serious (which isn't too often). I'd also
compare them to Biagio from the Kings of Summer. I want them to be very
different from Biagio but they'll have those strange moments that makes the
audience think, "What the heck? They're crazy! But I like it!" or something
along those line ;).

Sundance: 16-18 He seems very interested in all things spiritual but isn't quite
a monk because he's easily bugged and flustered. Maybe the reason he's so
into his spiritual side is to control some anger management issues, or some
motive the audience never knows that inspires his spiritual side. I can't
think of a character at the moment that is like him.
Aidan: Just another kid that causes mischief. He's a bit of a nerd but a
pyromaniac first. He loves fire and burning things. He's always looking for
his next fire bomb. I don't know that we'll show much fire but he's always
talking about it and has a lighter in his hand.
