Miles is a young boy who’s had life rough. His mom is currently terminally ill and all he wants
to do it put a smile on her face once again. He can’t afford a haircut and is often mistaken for the
bad guy. He’s not a thief or a bully, and he’ll be the first to open a door for another person, but at
first glance you’d never know that. He’s rough around the edges and not soft spoken in order to
meet with the harsh life he’s had. Even though life has served him lemons, he continually tries to
make lemonade.
CLARICE: NON-PAID

The mom of Miles. She’s come to terms with her illness and has fought a hard battle to stay
alive. After being a single parent for years, she tried her best to raise a son who is as much as a
gentleman as her husband was. But it’s been hard and one thing led to another, until she found
herself in a hospital bed, unable to take care of him and watching her life spiral out of control.
Her spirit is broken, and her smile has withered away like her health.

Carlile has owned the antique shop for decades. He’s seen it all and quiet frankly he’s no longer
surprised by what people will get themselves into for what they want. He’s quick tongued and
bitey because of the old pain in his bones. Irritated with people regularly, he’s quick to jump to
conclusions and doesn’t trust anyone easily. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t care, you have to
first earn his respect before he’ll let down his guard.
