A local Boise Production Company will be Auditioning Actors to work on their production, "A Place Called Bliss."
 
Synopsis: Elle, a twenty-something from New York City, is on the verge of a mental collapse, when she decides to move to Portland to start her life over. On the long and isolated drive her car breaks down in Bliss, Idaho, where she meets James, who after his father’s death was forced to become a man too quickly, causing him to lose an important part of himself on his way to Adulthood. A Place Called Bliss is a humanitarian investigation of their unlikely friendship, and the healing that follows when a person is lost and doesn’t know how to find home again.
 
The following Characters are available:

JAMES: Male – 20’s, Lead role. Anyone interested in auditioning for the role of James must be able to commit to the 10 days that will be spent on location in Bliss, Idaho.
MECHANIC: Male – 40’s, 50’s
MOTHER: Female – 40’s, 50’s
BACKGROUND EXTRAS
 
These are unpaid acting role. But, for those who are students at Boise State University, you will receive internship credit: (1-3 credits depending on the role).

Auditions will be held on Sunday, April 26th
Boise State University, Communication Building (behind the Student Union), Room 115
12:00pm – 4:00pm
Bring a current Headshot and Resume, Monologue not required, cold read.
