Below is a synopsis of the main roles for the feature The Medicine Show auditions on Monday:

This a crazy western musical satire.

The open speaking parts are:

MEN
  • Wild Bill:  tall, dark, handsome gunslinger, 20's/30's
  • Shakey: small, nerdy, 20's/30's                                                 
  • Marshall Dead-Eye: tough, dry, can be short, Mature                               
  • Maitre d’: comedian, preferably Hispanic, must speak Spanish & French, any age
  • Deputy: Bill Pullman type, not as smart as he thinks he is, any age
  • Roger Right: Elvis-type, must sing well, 20's/30's
  • Gunfighters, Cowboys, Towns Men: all ages
  • Orphans: Children all ages

 WOMEN
                                          
  • Ginger: Saloon girl, must sing & dance, 20's
  • Sweet Sue: Saloon girl, must sing & dance, 20's
  • Sassy Sal: Saloon girl, must sing & dance, 20's
  • Dainty Dinah: Saloon girl, must sing & dance, 20's
  • Annie Oakley: pretty but tomboy type, arm wrestles the cowboys, 20's/30's
  • Prospector Pete: pretty girl disguised as an old prospector through most of the movie- must be able to pull off the guy imitation. 20's/30's
  • Horse:  Angelina Jolie type, 20's/30's
  • Towns Women: all ages
  • Orphans: Children, all ages

Not all roles have to be exceptional dancers but the ability to move is important for most parts.
