MIGHTY GOLIATH PRODUCTIONS — For it’s 53rd season, Mighty Goliath Productions in Avon Lake will be performing “Oliver!” the hit Broadway musical based on the Charles Dickens novel. Auditions for children will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesay and noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 22. Auditions for adults will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 22. All auditions will take place at the Avon Lake United Church of Christ on Electric Blvd. The show will be performed at the Daniel B. Ross Performing Arts Center at Avon Lake High School on Feb. 10 to 18. All who audition are asked to sing a short musical selection and provide sheet music for the accompanist, plus bring appropriate shoes for choreography and be prepared to read. Both boys and girls will be considered for the children’s principal parts and chorus. All youth performers will be chosen by audition. A parent should accompany youth at the audition.
