Casting for Feature Film (Las Vegas)

producers of THOR AT THE BUS STOP. Casting for the feature film, LITTLE
MONSTERS, directed by David Schmoeller. Filming will begin in Las Vegas in mid
to late August. Actors cast in the following roles should reside in the Las
Vegas area.
Auditions will be held on Sunday, July 24 at UNLV between 12pm and 6pm. If you would like to audition, please send an email to maymay@maymayluong.com with your name, email address, phone number and the role that you would like to audition for inside the body of the email. If we would like to see you for an audition, you will be contacted with the location and to arrange an audition time.
If you have a recent photo/headshot and resume, please send attachments. Resumes should be in either .txt, Word or .PDF format.
Copy, credit and meals will be provided.
LITTLE MONSTERS
James and Carl were only 10 years old when they kidnapped and murdered 3 year old Davey. They were caught, tried, convicted and placed in separate juvenile facilities. At 18 years old, both are given new names and released back into society - much to the horror of the nation. They can have no contact with each other or with their past friends or relatives. The story follows the lives of these two boys as they try to start over, escape the past and survive the growing outcry following their release.
CARL
Male, to play 18 years old. Smoker. Abused as a child, just released from youth prison to start a new life with a new identity; however, the past continues to haunt him.
JAMES
Male, to play 18 years old. Youthful, smart and innocent looking. Just released from youth prison to start a new life with a new identity. He is looking forward to the future and embracing his newfound freedom.
10-YEAR OLD CARL
Male, to play 10 years old. The 10-year old version of Carl. See above.
10-YEAR OLD JAMES
Male, to play 10 years old. The 10-year old version of James. See above.
3-YEAR OLD DAVEY
Male, to play 3 years old. Gets separated from his mother at the mall by 10-year old Carl and 10-year old James.
MARSHAL PARKER
Male, to play 35-55 years old. Cowboy persona, Federal marshal. Smoker. Strong and authoritative. Genuinely cares about the well-being of Carl.
MARSHAL HENDERSON
Male, to play 35-55 years old. Federal marshal. Suit and tie type.
ALLYSON
Female, to play 18 years old. Love interest of James and James's new next door neighbor. Smart, out-spoken and outgoing. College student. Older sister to Beth.
BETH
Female, to play 10 years old. Younger sister to Allyson.
ROWDY
Male, to play 25-40 years old. Tabloid reporter. Colorful and shameless. Willing to do anything to get the story.
NELSON
Male, to play 25-40 years old. Tabloid photographer. Rowdy's partner. A bit more grounded than Rowdy but still works hard for the story.
G. GORDON WILLIAMS
Male, to play 25-40 years old. Tabloid TV host. Fast talker, charismatic, dramatic and over the top at times.
IDA WITHERS
Female, to play 40-50 years old. Mother of Carl. Chain smoking abusive mother.
DARLA
Female, to play 18-25 years old. Love interest of Carl at his new job.
AMANDA MCCLENDON
Female, to play 30-45 years old. The weathered and grieving mother of 3-year old Davey. Smoker.
VIRGINIA
Female, to play 35-50 years old. Checkout clerk and former witness at a trial. Regrets that she didn't do anything to help a victim in the past.
JUDGE MOAH CLEMENS
Male, to play 50-70 years old. Distinguished, former judge on a prominent murder trial.
