THE BEST BET SHORT FILM CASTING CALL

 

Casting to be held in Holladay, Utah on:

Saturday June 26, 2010 at 10:30am to 5:00pm

 

Shooting will take place for 5 days around: August 1st – 15th

 

Synopsis: A short narrative drama about Brian and Jillian Murphy and the infertility issues that provokes tension in their marriage.  Over the course of a night, the marriage falls apart, but neither of them is there to witness it.

 

Brian ($100/day – 3 days)

-          A male between the ages of 25-35

-          A young professional who is stubborn to his own marital problems and refuses the advice from his co-worker/friend.

 

Jillian ($100/day – 2 days)

-          A female between the ages of 25-35

-          Overcautious and emotional; takes action first and asks later.

-          This role involves crying.

 

David ($100/day – 3 days)

-          A male between the ages of 25-35

-          Inexperienced in relationships, but an outside observer with a voice-of-reason.

 

Bookkeeper ($50/day – 3 days)

-          A male between the ages of 25-50, preferably Latino.

-          Manages an event and takes the bets of those in attendance.

-          No lines. -- Still needs to audition.

 

Trainers ($50/day – 3 days) – There are two trainers

-          2 Trainers, male between ages of 25-50, preferably Latino.

-          Comfortable handling small-to-medium size animals.

-          No lines. -- Still needs to audition.

 

Emilio ($25/day – 1 day)

-          A male between the ages of 25-50, preferably Latino.

-          Watches the door and frisks those who enter.

-          No lines. -- Still needs to audition.
