AUDITION LOCATION: BYU, Provo, Utah
STORYLINE: Kevin, a young boy who loves comic books and action figures, runs into the girl of his dreams; Abby, a young petite girl who knows her martial arts. As he tries to win over her affection he runs into obstacles of misinterpretation, bullying, and his own misguided actions. With the help of Superhero Kevin learns about life, love, and the importance of the forgiveness and redemption.
CHARACTERS:
KEVIN, 10. Kevin loves to read and play with his action figures. Superhero is his particular role model that he takes with him wherever he goes. He’s smart, kind hearted, imaginative, and innocent. He’s got the look of being slightly pudgy, as if he hasn’t lost all of his baby fat yet.
LEAD
TERRANCE, 11. Strong, bulky, and physically well formed. Terrance has the make-up of a guy who could accomplish anything he set out to do. Although he used to love action figures as a kid, expectations of him being great have led him to hide away his favorite toys in order to please his family. This insecurity and conforming to peer pressure branches out to his social life with friends and so he lashes out and ridicules anyone who shares the same likes as himself.
