Holding auditions for the film, "Garden City" this Friday, June 4 at the Marriott Library on the University of Utah campus. Room 2103.

Auditions will run from 12-4pm.

Garden City is the story of Jonathan Fischer, a lifeguard who takes a...special....interest in the lives of the people he saves. Shooting will start towards the end of June and continue into the beginning of July. It will be directed by Phillip Davis.

Note:Without giving too much of the story away, the plot involves murder and violence. Nothing explicit or graphic but definitely on par with a PG13 rating.

Character Breakdown for Friday:

Starring:
Freeman (Female, 23-28, fit) - A police detective who struggles with the conservative and "by the book" methods of her partner, Pratt. She is bold and quick to action. Thought is secondary to instinct.

Supporting:
Mrs. Fischer (Female, 35-55) - She is Jonathan's mother. An overwhelming pleasant exterior that masks a past she is ashamed of. She isn't so much oblivious as she is unwilling to accept the flaws of her relationship with her son.

Nina (Female, 19-25, fit) - Recently saved by Jonathan, she is intrigued by his quiet and humble nature. Energetic and confident, she pursues a deeper connection to him.

Rose (Female, 19-25) - Another potential drowning victim saved by Jonathan. She is young and wild, more concerned with the "party" side of the college life than anything else.

Bill (Male, 35-55) - Jonathan's boss and biggest fan, he runs the lifeguard station.  Unaware of any possible dark side to Jonathan's personality.
