Blue Cam is casting "Roadtrip America," a travel-focused partially scripted drama filmed entirely in Mandarin. Producer states: "We have a 10-episode contract with Travel Channel China; this is the first time a Western-produced show has received clearance on Chinese television." Andrea Barabino, prod.

Rehearsals are Dec. 26-31 in L.A. Shoots Jan. 2-Feb. 7, 2013 in San Francisco, Big Sur, Utah, Arizona, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, Georgia, and Florida.

Seeking—Four Mandarin-Speaking Actors: male or female, any ethnicity, to play two Chinese National and two Caucasian-American friends that go on a classic roadtrip around the U.S., during the roadtrip the cast will interact with real Americans in real life situations which will give the show a spontaneous and serendipitous feel (in these situations they will speak English with Chinese subtitles). Supporting Characters: males and females, 18-65, any ethnicity. Note: Union and nonunion actors welcome.
